In Friday's non-league outing, the Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA), by a margin of 79-38.
The Phoenix (9-9) will now prepare for their outing against Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA). The Captains go into the non-league outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Loudoun County smashed Dominion (Sterling, VA), 44-38, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Tuscarora for a Dulles bout on Monday, February 7. Park View will play a Huskies squad coming off a 52-39 league win over Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 10-7.
