In Friday's non-league game, the Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) soccer squad tipped the host Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL), by a final score of 1-0.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, St. John Paul II was nudged by Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
The Jaguars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunwoody for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 5. Northridge will face a Wildcats team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Calera (Calera, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.
