In Friday's non-league battle, the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars soccer squad scored a close 6-1 win over the Oglethorpe County Patriots.
The Jaguars (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Gladiators go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Clarke Central nipped North Oconee (Bogart, GA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
