In Saturday's non-league outing, the Albany Huskies (Albany, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN), by a margin of 61-48.
The Huskies (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Dutchmen go into the AA Section 6 outing with a 10-6 record. In their last outing, Melrose was beaten by B O L D (Olivia, MN), 59-44, in a non-league outing.
The Yellowjackets now own a 16-2 record. They play next when they host Bemidji for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Perham will clash with a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 80-79 non-league loss to Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 11-7.
