Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) and the host St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE), saw Appoquinimink's basketball squad overcome St. Georges Tech by a tally of 57-49.
With the victory, Appoquinimink improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Tri-State Christian (Elkton, MD) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Tri-State Christian won 81-31 in their recent league challenge against Avon Grove Charter (West Grove, PA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A challenge, on Monday, February 6. St. Georges Tech will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 77-48 non-league win over Howard (Wilmington, DE).
