In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA), by a margin of 67-30.
The Lancers (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Valley (Sacramento, CA). The Vikings go into the Greater Sacramento outing with a 8-18 record. In their last outing, Valley smashed Florin (Sacramento, CA), 54-43, in a league outing.
The Royals now own a 2-20 record. They play next when they travel to St. Vincent de Paul for a non-league outing on Monday, February 6. Armijo will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 36-27 non-league win over Credo (Rohnert Park, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-15.
