Benedictine Bengals (Cleveland, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting John Adams Rebels (Cleveland, OH), 67-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Benedictine upgrades its record to 7-13 on the campaign. The Bengals host East Tech (Cleveland, OH) to play the Scarabs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Scarabs come into the bout with a record of 12-9. East Tech lost 69-65 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH)

Next up, the Rebels play the Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. John Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
