The Douglas Patriots basketball team (Box Elder, SD), dropped 62-44 in Saturday's league battle with the host Brookings Bobcats (Brookings, SD)
The Bobcats now possess a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a AA battle on Tuesday, February 7. Brookings will confront a Rough Riders team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Rough Riders record now stands at 8-6.
The Patriots (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 14-0 record. In their last battle, Hot Springs beat Hill City (Hill City, SD), 66-52, in a league battle.
