Englewood Pirates (Englewood, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bruce Randolph Grizzlies (Denver, CO), 68-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Englewood upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Pirates host Arvada (Arvada, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Frontier bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Arvada lost 82-31 in their recent league bout against Jefferson (Edgewater, CO)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Arrupe Jesuit Generals (Denver, CO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Bruce Randolph will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 0-17 record after their 45-44 non-league loss to KIPP Denver Collegiate (Denver, CO).
