The Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) basketball knocked off the host Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL), 44-31 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Terriers (10-14) will now prepare for their test against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans go into the South Seven test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Centralia notched a victory over Salem (Salem, IL), 62-34, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 14-12 record. They play next when they host Gibault Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Granite City will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 60-37 non-league win over Okawville (Okawville, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 21-6.
