In Saturday's non-league outing, the Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Hornets (Harvey, ND) basketball squad felled the visiting Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND), by a margin of 65-51.
The Hornets (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. John (St. John, ND). The Woodchucks go into the B Region 4 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, St. John was beaten by Warwick (Warwick, ND), 67-59, in a league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oakes for a B Region 3 District 5 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Carrington will clash with a Tornadoes squad coming off a 50-36 league loss to LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (LaMoure, ND). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-9.
