Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County ripped by Gering

February 4, 2023: Gering, NE 69341

The Gering Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Chase County Longhorns to 50 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCook for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Gering will meet a Bison team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE). The Bison record now stands at 12-6.

The Longhorns (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Hitchcock County triumphed over Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE), 66-43, in a league contest.
