Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA), 71-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Dakota Valley upgrades its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD) to play the Tanagers in a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tanagers come into the bout with a record of 6-10. Vermillion won 51-33 in their recent non-league bout against Redfield (Redfield, SD)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Western Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 66-55 non-league win over White River (White River, SD).
