The DeKalb Barbs basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Dixon Dukes & Duchesses to 35 in the Barbs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Barbs now sport a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochelle for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. DeKalb will battle a Hubs team coming off a 82-74 non-league win over Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hubs record now stands at 9-17.

The Dukes & Duchesses (17-10) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Rockets enter the Big Northern contest with a 11-15 record. In their last contest, Rock Falls triumphed over Oregon (Oregon, IL), 81-42, in a league contest.
