The Jefferson Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Delavan-Darien Comets to 44 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Big Foot for a Rock Valley contest on Monday, February 6. Jefferson will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 75-42 league win over Whitewater (Whitewater, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-9.

The Comets (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against South (Milwaukee, WI). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, South was defeated by Milwaukee Madison (Milwaukee, WI), 67-58, in a league contest.
