New Hampshire High School Basketball - St. Thomas Aquinas edges Derryfield

The St. Thomas Aquinas Saints (Dover, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH), 54-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Saints (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Toppers go into the Division III test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Somersworth got by Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH), 74-60, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Belmont for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Derryfield will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 55-34 league win over Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 11-4.
