Illinois High School Basketball - Dundee-Crown trounces Elgin

The Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) basketball crushed the host Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL), 64-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chargers (11-13) will now prepare for their test against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Wolves go into the Fox Valley test with a 12-12 record. In their last test, Prairie Ridge was trounced by Oswego (Oswego, IL), 78-74, in a non-league test.
The Maroons now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they host West Chicago for a Upstate Eight test on Tuesday, February 7. Elgin will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-21.
