Illinois High School Basketball - El Paso-Gridley tipped by Nashville

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Nashville Hornets basketball team scored a tight 40-39 triumph over the El Paso-Gridley Titans.

In their next game, the Hornets meet the Pinckneyville Panthers (Pinckneyville, IL) in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi match, on Friday, February 10. Nashville will attempt to move on its 17-11 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 24-3 record after their 64-49 non-league win over Freeburg (Freeburg, IL).

With the defeat, El Paso-Gridley moves to 13-13 on the year. The Titans travel to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL) to meet the Vikings in a Heart of Illinois match on Friday, February 10. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 11-14.
