The Fairfield Lions basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting St. Joseph Central Flyers to 29 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host McClain for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Fairfield will meet a Tigers team coming off a 44-39 league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 5-15.

The Flyers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Clay (Portsmouth, OH). The Panthers enter the Southern Ohio I contest with a 0-19 record. In their last contest, Clay was routed by Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH), 49-21, in a league contest.
