Miami Valley Rams (Dayton, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Franklin Monroe Jets (Pitsburg, OH), 53-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miami Valley upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Emmanuel Christian Academy (Springfield, OH) to play the Lions in a Metro Buckeye bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Emmanuel Christian Academy lost 58-46 in their recent non-league bout against Greenon (Springfield, OH)

Next up, the Jets play the Twin Valley South Panthers (West Alexandria, OH) in a Western Ohio bout, on Friday, February 10. Franklin Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record.
