In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Orion Chargers basketball team scored a good 67-48 triumph over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
In their next game, the Chargers meet the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) in a Three Rivers - West match, on Tuesday, February 7. Orion will attempt to better on its 11-16 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 11-13 record after their 68-56 league loss to Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL).
With the defeat, Geneseo moves to 0-23 on the year. The Maple leafs host Sterling (Sterling, IL) to meet the Golden Warriors in a Western Big 6 match on Tuesday, February 7. The Golden Warriors enter the match with a record of 19-7. Sterling lost 74-63 in their recent league match against East Moline United (East Moline, IL)
