Nebraska High School Basketball - Giltner trounces Palmer

The Giltner Hornets (Giltner, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE), 44-19 in Saturday's league test.

The Hornets (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Deshler (Deshler, NE). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Deshler was trounced by Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE), 47-23, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Cedar Bluffs for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Palmer will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 57-11 non-league loss to Mead (Mead, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-15.
