Utah High School Basketball - Grand County tipped by Union

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Union Cougars basketball team scored a tight 78-71 triumph over the Grand County Red Devils.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Delta Rabbits (Delta, UT) in a 3A Region 14 match, on Wednesday, February 8. Union will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Rabbits enter the match with a 2-18 record after their 71-49 league loss to Manti (Manti, UT).

With the defeat, Grand County moves to 5-17 on the year. The Red devils host Green River (Green River, UT) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 7. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 9-11. Green River won 79-69 in their recent league match against Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT)
