Nebraska High School Basketball - Lincoln High edges Grand Island

The Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) basketball nipped the visiting Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), 67-60 in Saturday's league test.

The Links (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Titans go into the A District TBD test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Papillion-LaVista South got by Westview (Omaha, NE), 56-40, in a non-league test.

The Islanders now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to North Star for a A District TBD test on Friday, February 10. Grand Island will encounter a Navigators squad coming off a 59-57 league loss to Gretna (Gretna, NE). The Navigators record now stands at 13-6.
