In Saturday's non-league match, the host Hickman Kewpies basketball team scored a tight 69-64 triumph over the Whitfield Warriors.
In their next game, the Kewpies meet the Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO) in a Central Missouri match, on Tuesday, February 7. Hickman will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record.
With the defeat, Whitfield moves to 4-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to Hazelwood Central (Florissant, MO) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Thursday, February 9. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 4-9.
