The Thoroughbreds come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Newport Central Catholic lost 69-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Ryle (Union, KY)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY) in a District 32 challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Walton-Verona will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 21-5 record after their 61-55 non-league win over Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY).
