In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Jones Eagles basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the Proviso West Panthers.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 8. Jones will attempt to move on its 16-11 season record.
With the defeat, Proviso West moves to 7-19 on the year. The Panthers host Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to meet the Red Devils in a West Suburban - Silver match on Friday, February 10. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 24-3.
