Lawrenceburg Tigers (Lawrenceburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mariemont Warriors (Cincinnati, OH), 57-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lawrenceburg upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Tigers host Rushville (Rushville, IN) to clash with the Lions in a Eastern Indiana bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Rushville lost 77-34 in their recent league bout against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Mariemont will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 60-44 league loss to Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH).
