The Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials (Napoleon, ND), 66-62 in Saturday's league test.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Tornadoes go into the B Region 3 District 5 test with a 4-9 record.
The Imperials now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Herreid/Selby for a non-league test on Monday, February 6. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 54-48 non-league win over Lyman (Presho, SD). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-6.
