Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN), 70-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Linton-Stockton upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 12-7. Terre Haute South Vigo won 69-63 in their recent non-league bout against Plainfield (Plainfield, IN)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. White River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a 6-12 record after their 67-51 non-league loss to Borden (Borden, IN).
