Ohio High School Basketball - Lynchburg-Clay crushes Piketon

Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), 67-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lynchburg-Clay upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Hillsboro lost 44-39 in their recent league bout against McClain (Greenfield, OH)

Next up, the Redstreaks clash with the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Piketon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Huntsmen go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 97-63 league loss to Westfall (Williamsport, OH).
