Louisiana High School Basketball - Peabody knocked off by Wossman

The Wossman Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Peabody Warhorses to 52 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carroll for a 3A District 1 contest on Friday, February 10. Wossman will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-62 league win over Richwood (Monroe, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-9.
The Warhorses (20-7) will now prepare for their contest against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 9-17 record. In their last contest, Grant was defeated by Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA), 77-56, in a league contest.
