Montana High School Basketball - Powell County ripped by St. Ignatius

The St. Ignatius Bulldogs basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Powell County Wardens to 37 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. St. Ignatius will battle a team coming off a 50-40 league win over Ronan (Ronan, MT). The record now stands at 8-6.

The Wardens (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT). The Rams enter the B District 6 contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Loyola-Sacred Heart triumphed over Thompson Falls (Thompson Falls, MT), 76-29, in a non-league contest.
