California High School Basketball - Truckee knocked off by Spring Creek

The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Truckee Wolverines to 59 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowry for a 3A Northern - East contest on Wednesday, February 8. Spring Creek will meet a Buckaroos team coming off a 59-56 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 9-12.

The Wolverines (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wooster (Reno, NV). The Colts enter the 3A Northern - West contest with a 8-14 record. In their last contest, Wooster ran past Hug (Reno, NV), 69-38, in a league contest.
