Colorado High School Basketball - Brush nips Valley

February 4, 2023: Gilcrest, CO 80623

Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), 39-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brush upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Beetdiggers travel to Estes Park (Estes Park, CO) to play the Bobcats in a bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Estes Park won 33-24 in their recent non-league bout against Windsor Charter Academy (Windsor, CO)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Eaton Reds (Eaton, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Reds come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 49-47 league win over Sterling (Sterling, CO).
