In Saturday's non-league match, the host Allen East Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 53-31 triumph over the Botkins Trojans.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Lincolnview Lancers (Van Wert, OH) in a Northwest match, on Tuesday, February 7. Allen East will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record. The Lancers enter the match with a 11-9 record after their 62-33 league loss to Jefferson (Delphos, OH).

With the defeat, Botkins moves to 12-10 on the year.
