Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the General Brown Lions (Dexter, NY) and the visiting Canton Golden Bears (Canton, NY), saw General Brown's basketball squad overcome Canton by a tally of 53-34.

With the victory, General Brown improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Golden Bears confront the Salmon River Shamrocks (Fort Covington, NY) in a Section 10 Central challenge, on Monday, February 6. Canton will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 40-31 non-league win over Norwood-Norfolk (Norwood, NY).
