Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County over Gering

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) and the host Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE), saw Chase County's basketball squad overcome Gering by a tally of 39-25.

With the victory, Chase County improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Hitchcock County lost 46-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Gering will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 41-37 non-league loss to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE).
