The Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Mt. Carmel Golden Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL), 46-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (18-11) will now prepare for their test against Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 12-16 record. In their last test, Gallatin County was tipped by Pope County (Golconda, IL), 58-52, in a non-league test.
The Golden Aces now own a 14-15 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne City for a non-league test on Thursday, February 9.
