Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 45-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Killingly upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Redmen host New London (New London, CT) to play the Whalers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Whalers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. New London won 49-35 in their recent league bout against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)

Next up, the Falcons play the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - 2 bout, on Monday, February 6. Fitch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Colonels go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 46-34 non-league win over Killingly (Killingly, CT).
