Oregon High School Basketball - Monroe/Alsea tops Gold Beach

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Monroe/Alsea (Monroe, OR) and the visiting Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR), saw Monroe/Alsea's basketball squad knock off Gold Beach by a count of 42-24.
With the victory, Monroe/Alsea upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign.
Next up, the Panthers play the Reedsport (Reedsport, OR) in a 2A Valley Coast challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Gold Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-17 record after their 49-15 league loss to East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR).
