Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) and the visiting Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), saw Graves County's basketball squad hold off Webster County by a count of 52-51.

With the victory, Graves County upgrades its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to McCracken County (Paducah, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 25-2. McCracken County won 79-43 in their recent league challenge against Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY)

Next up, the Trojans play the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) in a District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Webster County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Owensboro (Owensboro, KY).
