California High School Basketball - Harker knocked off by Monta Vista

The Monta Vista Matadors basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Harker Eagles to 43 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Saturday.
In their next game, the Matadors meet the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza match, on Tuesday, February 7. Monta Vista will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 11-10 record after their 60-48 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA).
With the defeat, Harker moves to 7-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Notre Dame (Belmont, CA) to meet the Tigers in a West Bay - Foothill match on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-6. Notre Dame lost 47-40 in their recent league match against Menlo School (Atherton, CA)
