The New England Tigers (New England, ND) basketball felled the host Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND), 57-43 in Saturday's league test.
The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Beulah (Beulah, ND). The Miners go into the B Region 7 test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Beulah thwarted Hettinger/Scranton (Hettinger, ND), 49-35, in a league test.
The Black Devils now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Beulah for a B Region 7 test on Monday, February 6. Hettinger/Scranton will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 60-49 league loss to Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND). The Miners record now stands at 7-5.
