In Saturday's league outing, the Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), by a count of 46-43.
The Stockaders (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH). The Redmen go into the non-league outing with a 18-1 record. In their last outing, Fostoria held off Arcadia (Arcadia, OH), 50-24, in a non-league outing.
The Chieftains now have a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary Central Catholic for a Sandusky Bay - River match on Saturday, February 11.
