The Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) basketball nipped the host Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA), 44-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Olympians (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals go into the Schuylkill County 1 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Pine Grove got by Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 59-43, in a league test.
