Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ), 30-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kittatinny Regional upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Hackettstown lost 32-28 in their recent non-league bout against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ)

Next up, the Redhawks clash with the Whippany Park Wildcats (Whippany, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Parsippany will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 62-32 non-league loss to Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ).
