Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), 56-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Loganville upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to play the Bulldoggs in a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldoggs go into the bout with a record of 5-18. Winder-Barrow lost 70-30 in their recent league bout against Eastside (Covington, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Lakeview Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 61-27 league win over Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA).
