In Saturday's non-league outing, the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lotus School For Excellence Meteors (Aurora, CO), by a margin of 29-6.
The Highlanders (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Golden View Classical Academy (Golden, CO). The Sentinels go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Golden View Classical Academy was trounced by Loveland Classical (Loveland, CO), 35-34, in a league outing.
The Meteors now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to DSST: Conservatory Green for a 4A/3A/2A Confluence outing on Wednesday, February 8. Lotus School For Excellence will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 41-23 league win over DSST: Green Valley Ranch (Denver, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 2-16.
