The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team (Platte, SD), was nudged 36-29 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Miller Rustlers (Miller, SD)

The Rustlers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roncalli for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Miller will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 52-35 non-league loss to Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-8.

The Black Panthers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD). The Cavaliers come into the A Region 5 battle with a 6-7 record.
